Hello,

My name is Carl Hewlett and I was born in Kent and raised in the Stroud district, Gloucestershire. I have recently moved to London to pursue my passion for photography and to develop my skills further. I have worked on numerous private commissions and I am currently studying towards the gain of a Foundation Degree in Professional Photography in Westminster.

 

My personal style of photography mainly contains structure and form. There is usually an underlying subtext to my images that reflects a more rural lifestyle. Since moving to the city this style has broadened and my images now create a visually pleasing mix of both urban and rural undertones but still have a structured viewpoint. Although these seem to be my styles and codes for personal ventures I feel that I have the flexibility and intuition to fit the most detailed of assignments for specific clients and their needs.

 

I hope that you will take some time to browse through this new website and enjoy my work. Please note that as this site is a new venture into my photographic career, it is always evolving so apologies for the lack of substance at the present.
